The in Ha Today - 17/08/13

I shot this image of the sun in Ha light through a hole in the clouds this morning, now that the sun is setting it has cleared, a typical occurrence.

Maybe a bit too much sharpening? Seeing was the best that I have had for a long time.

Well done George. I reckon sharpening somewhere in between the two.

What are you using to sharpen with, George? I recommend #1 slider only in Registax 6 - Either Gaussian or linked Gaussian. Default works ok too.

Thanks guys, I use #2 and #6 sliders on Registax, maybe today I was a bit heavy handed. I only used 300 frames out of 1200, then the clouds closed in.

Ted, I think you are correct, somewhere in between will be O.K.
