Two from Astrofest with QHY10

I picked up a QHY10 OCS for some wide fields. This was used with a W.O 72mm Megrez and televue x 0.8 flattener/reducer. It took a while to sort out the Bias and offset values. Thanks Allan for saving the day

3 hrs on the Dark Doodad, I was happy with the shot although I had difficulty getting the star cluster white with Pixinsight.

3 Hrs on the Veil-Wide field. i was happy with the scale but I've always found processing difficult with the associated star field. I have included a version with less stars

Thanks for looking

Nice shots and a great FOV, Geoff. Might be worth some experiments on the Veil with Masked Stretch or maybe applying more stretch to the nebulosity and less to the stars with a mask.

Great images Geoff. You really have been a busy little processing maniac.
