Help Deep Sky Stacker burns out image

Hi guys,
Last night was my first attempt at astrophotography. I was quite happy with the light frames I took, but when I tried to stack them in DSS the image was horribly burnt out. All of the settings were the most basic: no drizzle, average mode, stacking only 13 light frames. Any help would be appreciated.

I've attached a typical light frame, along with the stack. (By the way I've reduced the quality a lot to upload them, the originals are much crisper)

Hi Joel,

I had a similar problem when I tried it. Have a read of post#10 in this thread. It was very helpfull. Unfortunately I haven't been out much since then to practice.

Good luck.

Thanks for the reply that was really helpful I've fixed up the image it looks really good. Here's a link to a jpg of it, though I found that the original TIFF looks a lot better.
