M16 in Ha from Austria

Hi folks,

we have sooo bad weather since months here in Austria. But some days ago I got the chance to collect some data from M16. It is a low object for me. Here you can see the view from my balcony:

I used the 80/480 APO for capturing the eagle.

Full field 75%:

Cheers from Austria, the cloudy land.

Most excellent shot Werner. It is pretty low from your location. We take it for granted here. It's nearly right up ahead. It's interesting to see the extinction in contrast of the fainter and finer features. Makes me think of all we lose when imaging northern objects such as Andromeda and others from our side of the ditch.

Hi Werner,
Great shot !!!
I like the 75% full field.
Then your balcony must have unobstructed southern view …
