Some more from Placidus

Here's two more pics from last week-end. The Dumbell nebula and the Lagoon, coz I couldn't help it.

Big ones here (M27) and here (M8). Colours turned out much better than the same shot at the SPSP and the dumbell being quite low the dark skies north were ideal for it.

My head for goto and the 90mm APO refractor I got on the IIS classified last year.

More images! You've been a busy boy lately Marc! Great Lagoon with nice colour! The dumbell looks good too even though a bit of a challenge at that fl.

Thanks David. I wasn't sure how big it was. Just starting to see some details. I'll definitely do it again at longer FL if the have the chance again but it's a little low from NSW.
