a very odd white light sun 7 july 2013

first time imaging since 26 may , the mount suffered from a flat cmos battery - took me a while to realise. anyway after a heap of smaller problems from not using the gear for a while, I did the stupid obvious again - forgot to select y800 - so I paid the price.

will rectify the information tomorrow with another attempt before the clouds come through

I can't wait to view this today-it's front centre right now.
Apparently there's 64 sunspots with one of them as large as Neptune. Thanks for sharing this David- I can see I'm going to be in for a viewing treat for sure!
