I got nuttin', nuttin' I tells ya

Sodding rain, clouds, cold... no astrophotography in over a month!

So, to alleviate this, I am reproccessing some of my much earlier stuff (AGAIN!). Tonight it was M42 (ARRGGHH!!!), using a few new tricks and tweaks.

I cannot remember the details, but I think this was 5 x 5 using my venerable FL102S refractor.

Comments, criticism, tips welcome! I cannot stretch it much further without introducing "holes in the data", nor smooth it much more for the same reasons.

that's pretty sharp for 7.98 arcsec/pixel Lewis.

Nah, I didn't give all the correct parameters to astrobin. The scale is actually closer to 1.79 asec/pix.

5x5 = 5 x 5min exposures. 25 mins total

And the tilt has been remedied since this data was collected, and a BETTER mount.
