Lunar Halo

Picking my son up from the school disco he was quick to point out the moon. I only had the Sony rx100 in the truck so took a quick snap on auto before heading home .It dissappeared and reappeared so I used the 60D on the tripod great with the flip out screen then used the 6D at 28mm on full auto it locked on with one focal pt through the Palm leaves. It really is impressive how it auto focuses in low light mind you the rx 100 does well in low light also.

A nice set Derek. Apparently, these circles are always 22 degrees in diameter due to refraction effects through ice crystals in the atmosphere.

Sounds like you’re impressed with the 6D!

Cheers
