Sol 8th June

Seeing was quite nice except for the wind..wind, wind & more wind..Sick of it!

Clouded out for the proms so it's disc only. I do have some 1.5X proms to add later though.

Very nice, John. I'm looking forward to trying some solar imaging when I get past my ankle problems.
A friend set up my Lunt 60 for me to have a look-I'm very happy with it, and look forward to using it.

Yeah figured it was still crapolla in your neck of the woods, Ralph. You beauty..Another camera to play with

Look forward to seeing any results from you & the 60mm Laurie!

Here's a couple of proms. Can't be bothered with colour or post processing so straight out of Registax.

That is great Laurie. They are very nice visually. I have one on loan and have a plate to stack it on the 90mm if the weather ever clears. Will await your images.

I have been really impressed with your Solar work and a good move considering the appalling cloud and wind in Qld.

John.

Thanks John, appreciate your comments. Made total sense to me considering the abnormal weather here the last, quite a few months actually. I'd say until we have another official drought season it's pretty much all over for planet imaging from QLD except on the odd few occasions like we've been getting here & there - Scraps for the dogs compared to the last 3 years..

This won't be to everyone's taste but I'm just seeing what's possible as in dragging out detail with no noise.
