Bino focus knob

Hi guys

Just received my new 10x50 Pentax binos in the mail.

The look very nice and so far I'm happy with the daytime view through them. Can't wait to go looking for McNaught.

There's just one problem. The focus knob turns easily enough in one direction but it's a real struggle going the other way.

Anyone got any tips or suggestions for loosening it up a bit?

Many thanks

Maybe a couple of gentle taps with a hammer? Or perhaps get a screwdriver and take them appart

Come to think of it, my much cheaper Saxons are easier to focus in one direction than the other too. It is a bit annoying isn't it.
