Corona Australis

After seeing the amazing image of this posted by David Fitz-Henr, I thought I would give it a go.

I used a 2x powermate for the first image on Firday night 7/6 and then imaged it without the powermate.

1st images 2xpowermate
5x5min
5x10min
10x15min subs

2nd image no powermate.

6x10min
25x15min
1x20min subs

No processing done other than a screen strectch.

PA was pretty spot on thanks to Robin and his little CCD_Align script which resulted in pretty good guiding.

Any comments good or bad most welcome.

Cheers and thanks for looking

Great result John I like the details in the close up but I like the composition of the wider field version

Thanks Guys. Yes I like the wide field better too. The powermate was more of a test to see how much differance there would be between the 2 FOV's

Cheers

I would say I'm still a beginner and learning my setup. I think I got lucky with that one. All the ducks lined up for once and everything played together without any hissey fits. I have just started using my half finished Obs which has made life so much easier being able to leave everything setup.

I just have to learn how to process the data now. Then I might be ready for the imaging section

Once again thats to all for the great comments.

Cheers
