A star on the rise

Logged out of hotmail this morning which takes you back to the NineMSN website and there is the usual ad that I generally close without a second thought. This one happened to be of the Milky Way & Bungle Bungles so I had half a look. Then I read the quote - 'I saw the Milky Way arching overhead' - Mike Salway.

With his work getting showcased on one of the most visited sites in Aus I don't know how he will find the time to keep a little astronomy website up and running.

Congrats Mike.

Thanks Andrew!

Saw it myself on NineMSN today too (screenshot attached). Had no idea it would be there. Looks like the agency has started the campaign for Tourism WA today too, because a colleague sent me an photo today of my image on a bus shelter!

Very cool!

Appreciate your feedback

Great stuff Mike and well deserved, you sure look to be heading the way of a friends brother who has a couple in the national gallery in that your photography and name will become so well known to employers (and theres an awfull lot of them) in the field, work should roll on in with a little luck.

best wishes this works out the way you hope for.

Terrific to see your stuff on bus shelters as you walk down the street Mike. Well done indeed! And I still think it's an awesome pic every time I see it
