Copenhagen sunset

At this time of year twilight lasts till almost midnight with DST. 20:39 CET from the hotel window. Resize doesn't do much for it.

Cool shot. That's the best thing in summer when you're a kid growing up in the North. You can go to bed real late . Not very astro friendly though. You'd be hard pressed to get 4h of dark in summer and that's in the twilight too. But you get pitch dark skies in winter from 3pm to 9am.

Thanks all. We were getting rather bored with grey skies and rain or snow, so a bit of colour was welcome.

It's back to cloud, showers and freezing wind in Stockholm. We've reached a date and latitude with no nautical twilight, let alone astronomical twilight. Heading further north tomorrow, then west into Norway before starting the trek back south.
