Saturn 9th March 2013

Latest attempt under some trying turbulence and iffish transparency in Glen Iris.

4 gig file stacked in auto stakkert and finished off on registax, and finally touched up in photoshop, asi120mc camera and the 120ED with 4x powermate.
Still learning to master this as the actual video was very darkish so a credit to the stacking software.
I still can't get the attachments to appear like some others where they are on a separate page please help me with this.

that's pretty good for a 120mm aperture.

maybe a bit more signal would help with the colour, so possibly consider longer exposures and higher gain if there is any room to vary these parameters.

A creditable effort for such a small aperture Nik.

Well done

Woah that is excellent Nik, especially for a 120mm.

I got a 130mm and hoping to get something like this. How do you find working with the 4x Powermate?
