UV limits for instruments

In a thread on UV imaging
http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...d.php?t=106485

I mentioned the camera response curve of the ATiK314L camera and the UV limit of around 3660A.
This needs to be corrected. In real terms the results obtained are a combination of all transmission/ reflection efficiencies and show the final outcome of the whole system.
The factors which will influence the final response being:
- Earth's atmosphere - absorption of various wavelengths.
- The transmission of the telescope optics
- The transmission of the collimator lens in the Spectroscope
- The reflective efficiency of the grating
- The QE curve of the CCD sensor.
