Mooning!

Hey guys, I was just playing around with my new eyepiece and newly serviced mount and I thought I'd bring the camera out to play. These images are 500 frame .avi's shot on a 550D, 8" F/5 newt with a 2x barlow, also for Tycho and the Sea of Tranquility I used the 5x 'digital zoom'.

Sorry about the offensive processing, I'm still experimenting . And the small filesize is because the easiest way to transfer photos from my laptop to my desktop is to upload them to facebook and download them again (minus a few pixels).

The shot of the Sea of Tranquility is so frustrating because I was going for the Tranquility Base, but I realised once I'd packed up that I'd taken a wrong turn at Tycho, and ended up too far south. Next time.

Focus and detail are amazing, well done but can I be a bit critical and say IMHO it's over processed, pushed a bit too hard. I'm seeing sharp detail but little graduation between features and the more general background.

THanks Brent, I agree with the processing, unfortunately the screen on my little netbook is misleading at best. As soon as I saw them on my 'proper' screen I cringed.
Thanks for the feedback, it's all very much appreciated.
