13th June Jupiter 2/10
Jupiter at 6:30-7:00 this evening. Caught the Io transit.
Okay its not good but better than what I saw last night.
The first one is at 10fps and the second at 5 fps both 75% gain.
Tried some at 20fps but the dreaded onions came in.

Funny how the seeing can vary, Lester. It wasn't too bad over here and usually us city dwellers have a worse time of it. A couple of clear nights seem to be on the way. Pretty good image considering the poor seeing.

Ah, blink and missed it seeing... you've got to love this game
nice transit Lester, you're probably sick of reading this, but it's still appearing very dark on my CRT compared with most joops on the site

Thanks Robert,
I don't mind you telling me, will try a brighten them more from now on.
Also helps to bury the dreaded onion rings, but I am not getting as many as I use to. High gain usually kills em, but not always.
