EQ5 with dual motor drive with guideport mod

I have the following for sale its a EQ5 with dual tracking motors. This has being modded with guide port from previous owner and has being tuned by my husband see thread here http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...d.php?t=100592 . This mount is also the second edition aka based on the latest eq5 design which features RA bearings and not bushes like the older version.
It comes with a 6volt plug pack, please note these mount use 6volt not 12volt so don't plug it into a 12volt source, it also has 1x5kg counter weight included. This mount has an upgraded hard wood tripod which is nicely suited in height for newt's and would make a great imaging rig for a beginner on a budget or a quick up and go for the everyday user.

There are some cosmetic issues which do not effect function, the DEC drive motor plug pcb is cracked off from screws can be glued back on, 1 alt adjustment cap is missing, chip in hardwood tripod near one of the feet and last the DEC knob slightly bent though DEC shaft worm and drive section are fine and fully working. There are some scratches and wear marks though this is all cosmetic and wear and tear for its age.
A regretful sale but at i have a HEQ5 now and need funds to purchase a Lunt solar scope.

Please feel free to ask any question and inspection welcome for serious buyers only.

OTA & kitty not included sorry.

Price $275 strictly pickup only
