Moon with hanging "C"

Not into imaging yet, but could not resist taking snap with a phone camera of this hanging "C" - is this a common sight ?

I C it, C 4 Cool ! Is it common ? The phases of the moon take near a month to Start over again , , try axactly one moon/Lunar month from now, though the exact timing of the terminator/shadow line to form this Hanging "C" cound be an hour or three either side from the exact time this photo was taken, , ? ?
