Last Friday Night was a great night despite the MOON!!!! at the SVAA Friday night gathering.

It was certainly a bit coolish, but we had a great time. Dobs of different sizes, reflectors, refractors, and lot's of Hot Coffee!!
Great to see Darren (wombat) and Leon (Leon) there too.

Quite a gathering, sure looks like fun, and you even bought your own big ice block to eat while others viewed. Well done, good to see the Association off to a great start.

It was very cool night in both respects nice to meet some of the local members of the SVAA, being a long distance member it is hard to get up there on the club nights all the time but this trip was well worth it ( and the boss paid for the trip ) in a way was doing some work in Ballarat on Thursday and friday so I just went to Snake vally after finishing work ond friday.

Suprising how Sombrero Galaxy still looks spectacular with Full Moon and frosty air! Our 12 inchers picked it out beautifully!!!!!

The new lady spun out! "You can even see the dark lane!" Then she froze like the rest of us
