Hi all,

With moving house, I haven't been able to image much lately. Here are some efforts from last week and last month. 3293 is an open cluster in Carina. Slightly more suburban glow at the new house... but still happy with the backyard images.

Scope: 80mm F6.25 refractor
Camera: ATIK 320E
Mount: CGEM
Guider: QHY5

All images are taken using a number of 5 minute images plus darks and bias frames.

Nice, Grant. I like 4945 in particular, works well in the wide field.

Where's the new place? You've clearly got a good view to the SE...

Cheers

Jonathan

Nice work. That's pretty close up for that FL though. What's your sensor size on the ATIK?

Richardson - so beaut views to the SE, south and west! I am on a hill with a clear view to the Brindabellas to the west, Theodore to the south, and Monaro Hwy to the SE. Except for the north, I have a good sky coverage.

ATIK 320E has quite a small chip. Nice sensitivity though. 1620x1220 with 4.4 pixel size.

Nice. Nt too much light pollution in those directions. Really, I think Canberra is not too bad from an LP point of view for a big city. The fact that it's so spread out helps.
