Corona Australis reflection nebula .

Hi,

I've been playing around with this image of Corona Australis for some time.
This is the best rendition so far.

What I'm happy with, colour, contrast and composition.
What I'm not happy with, stars and need another couple of hours of data.
Still it's my deepest image to date shows a couple of PGC galaxies, mag 14.7 and 14.9.

Equipment.

8" Newtonian astrograph f/4. on HEQ pro 5 mount. Orion mini guider.

Unmodded canon 1100D, baader coma corrector, cooler box.

11 x 10 minute subs, darks and flat frames applied.

Median stack in DSS, processed in PS7.

Cheers,

Justin.

Haven't even got to see an orthopaedic surgeon yet, let alone had the fusion operation, Justin.
Its ridiculous-2 months to get an appointment, meanwhile I get around on crutches and a support boot.
These guys must be awfully busy!

Yep I hear you!

Had a few back problems recently and was informed that it would take 3 months to get an appointment with a neurosurgeon . Fortunately I didn't need one.
Hope you can get in soon.

Cheers,

Justin.

Nice shot Justin; you've done pretty well with the colour here for an unmodded DSLR. The outer regions have a greenish tint which I think is real; I noted the same in Greg Bradley's image and I have just collected all my colour data which (on initial look) appears to show the same. Interestingly, I see other images where the green appears to be processed out.
