And what a stunner it is!

Mt Banks, I have taken some daytime photos from there. A great spot.

Beautiful wide panorama Andrew.

I love the colours.

What a great start.

What equipment did you use?

Good luck.

Ross.

Hi Guys, thanks for the great feedback.
I am happy with the shot but I see lots of areas for improvement of course.

Canon 7d
Canon 18-200 zoom
30 second exposures
6400 ISO
f4
18 vertical shots stitched into the pano.

very good first post! 7D at 6400, must be noisy at 100%? I really don't like using mine above 3200.

Thanks again, happy to be part of this community

Yeah the noise is an issue that I need to deal with, and yes it is very noisy at 100%.

I have very fond memories of Mount Banks as one of my regular haunts when I was living in Penrith. Lovely rock-climbing, abseiling and canyons all around it. I just wish I was a photographer back then!

Thanks for the memories encapsulated in this beautiful shot.

Baz.

I find 3200 workable on the 7D, but takes some practice and playing to find techniques that work.
