Finally a Carina Neb I'm proud of

I've tried this target a few times. Between an early attempt when I first started last year resulting in trailed stars and guiding errors, to an attempt from a dark sky which was botched with short exposures, to a go down at Port Maquarie which was spoilt by dew and a DSLR not sensitive to Ha, I was slowly getting disappointed.

Anyway I finally did it. Nearly 3 hours of the Carina Nebula from Brisbane. This is also my first successful image from my QHY10. Still minor coma problems in my setup but I'm making steps in the right direction.

Shot with a QHY10 through a C8 and f/6.3 reducer.

So you should. An excellent result with great colours and details.
PS: shot is mirrored.

And double thanks to you. I made a bit of effort in confirming orientation when I shot with a DSLR and didn't bother checking when I got a QHY10. Looks like mirroring will have to become part of my workflow.
