HEQ5 PRO mount autoguiding problems

I'd appreciate somebody helps me with a problem I'm suffering.
I've recently bought a HEQ5 PRO mount which has an autoguide port. Last year I obtained the Shoestring parallel device and I use Guidedog as software for autoguiding.
I use Guidedod as guiding software and Shoestring parallel device.
However, the system does not work at all.
I've tested the Shoestring device by means of GPINTCheck and the scope moves fine, but with Guidedog there is no action at all.
How can I check what is wrong or what sould be the settings in this paticualr case?
Thanks for any answer taht helps me

Hi

You probably have the parallel port set to ECP which is what GPINT check works on, try changing it to EPP and set it to 378, do that though the BIOS, worked for me during an extensive testing exercise.

Cheers
