Saturn May 1st Decent seeing at last!

But poor transparency! Even so my best Saturn night of the year. 3 images below IR and straight colour image processed in 2 ways with 1.5x drizzle but different wavelets. Taken with QHY cams. (still having colour balance issues)

23 degrees elevation :

Hi Stewart, reckon you have done very well to resolve the CD like this at only 21 degrees alt. All good experience with your new cameras.

Cheers
Trevor

Thanks John & Trevor!

Went out again last night as the sky was crystal clear so hopes were high that this could be "the" night but alas sod's law kicked in and seeing was terrible lol At least we are getting some clear skys here.

Btw elev was a whopping 23 degrees not 21.

Thanks Eric & Ray! Going out again tonight which will be 3 nights in a row, quite a novelty for cloudy UK!
