Imaging rig "for a BabyQ

Folks, there haven't been any takers for these so I'll pull them for now and use them over the winter and then see what happens.

cheers:

This is the counterpart advert for the one I have just placed in the Scope/Mount section. I repeat it here unless the moderators think I should split it.

Here's something special.

My BabyQ - a lovely, lovely scope. FSQ85EDX - set up for serious imaging. I need to give some funds to one of my kids who are trying to buy their first house so I'm reluctantly parting with this rig.

It is currently equipped with:
1. A Tak clamshell and baseplate PLUS a set of cusom-made rings so you can have it both ways;
2. A FLI PDF focuser with all necessary Precise Parts adapters to fit the scope on the front and a Takahashi .73 reducer on the other;
3. A Tak .73 reducer which brings the scope to f 3.9 and a FL of 330 mm.
4. all Precise Parts adapters to provide the correct backfocus and connexction to the OAG/FW/CCD I use.

I am also selling the imaging rig I am using with this scope which is listed here but will be listed under camaeras as well. I will separate the scope package from the camera package in need be but prefer not to do so. I won't subdivide either the scope package or the camera package though.

The camara package includes:
1. A Starlight Express OAG with SX Lodestar guide Cam.
2. A Starlight Express USB filter which currently has a 7-slot carousel with 1.25" Astrodon and Baader filters but which also comes with a spare 2"mounted round filter carousel.
3. An ATIK 400LE CCD. (This uses the same sensor as the SXVR_H16 - a 4 MP square format CCD with 7.4 micros pixels. Used with the BabyQ this produces an image scale of 4.6 as/p and a FOV of 157 x 157 arcmins.

Prices:
The scope package (BabyQ, Clamshell & rings, PDF, Reducer and adapters); cost about A$5800 to replace - sell for A$4000
The camera package (OAG,FW& filters & spare carousel, ATIK4000LE) cost about A$6000 to replace, sell for A$3750.
