Sold: Sbig Ao-7

Hi All,

Just letting you all know that I'm selling my AO-7. They are worth $1,395
USD new + shipping and GST (unless you pick it up yourself). So you can
expect to pay around $2,120 AUD with shipping and GST paid.

I originally purchased it for my LX200Gps to compensate for poor tracking
which it did very well and to produce sharper images, since I've sold the
LX200Gps I haven't used it once with my new rig.

Since its second hand I'll knock 30% off the price and not recover the
shipping and the GST I paid on it.

If no one is interested I'll be posting it up on Astromart in a few days
time.

I'm asking $1,300 AUD for the AO-7 which includes registered post shipping
with insurance (unless you live in Melbourne for hand delivery).

There are some heavy usage marks around the O-ring that is used to bolt the
AO-7 on to the SBIG. I'm sure you can get a replacement ring from one of the
many SBIG dealers if you really desire, however it's not needed for use as
it will scratch up again the first time you attach the AO-7 to your SBIG.

Detail images of the AO-7 can be provided on request.
The AO-7 will only work with the SBIG ST-7, 8, 9, 10 and 2000 series.

Cheers,

Brad Moore

Hi Tony,

The sale of the AO-7 and the Narrowband Filters is to fund the purchase of complete Astrodon LRGB, Ha, SII and OIII True Balance Filter Set (7 filters) and a SBIG Colour Filter Wheel 10.

This means all my filters will be parfocal and I will no longer have to swap filters as my current filter wheel is a 5 slot.

Cheers,
Brad
