Ralphs Saturn

First go at Saturn with the DBK21-618.
Seeing was on and off but got plenty of sets to play with.
I processed this one to see what I had captured. Didnt worry to much about the colour and you can tell that is Saturn.

I tried putting another set through Autostakkert which I have not used before but will get up to speed with.

The first one has seeing problems associated I think. The other 2 are crackers mate! Just false colour added I assume?

Yeah John, The seeing was coming and going.
The colour is straight out of the camera YUY2 +Unspec. I took out the IR Filter on those two sets.
Will play a bit later with the rest. Its a start though.

A bit confused here Ralph, the DMK (listed as used by you) is strictly a mono camera..

I'm always confusing everyone mate. It is the colour camera 618. Could have listed it wrong. Will sort it when I get home later this arvo.

No worries. Actually reading back..You mention removing a filter, only one model has a filter & that would be the DFK..my mistake..Unless you are using a 1.25" IR/UV cut on the nosecone of the DMK & took THAT out/off....Nup, I'm still confused!!

Sorry John my goof,
It is a DBK21-618 and you were right I had an IR filter on the nose piece. I took it of to see what would happen. Just learnlng how to work the little sucker.

Right! Glad we got that one squared away Ralph hehehe! I've done a comparison (of course!) of the IR/UV cut on & off the cam...Best to leave it on or you'll get colour bleed, blurriness & a few other problems...Dust on the sensor is another. Right now it's pretty high up @ maximum elevation - the higher the object, this less prone to problems associated with no IR/UV cut filter.
