mouldy mirror

gah, my primary's gone mouldy. Must have put the dust cap on before the dew had evaporated

Any top tips for removal and / or prevention?

Check out the thread under beginners for details of how to wash your mirror. Good news is that aluminium doesn't go mouldy; the crap on might... give it a wash and some TLC.

cheers, I was wondering if there's a way of preventing mould. I guess spraying with clove oil's not a good idea =)

Hi Rob,
Just cleaned my mirror - it was very dull looking, not mouldy.
Washed it in soapy water and the gunk disappeared immediately.
