4 June Jupiter

Hi everone,

Seeing tonight was about 4/10. Here is a couple images processed in a hurry. May try and smarten them up if I get time tomorrow.

Thanks Lester! It's great to see the images from other after observing the same thing at the eyepiece, even if the seeing was less than ordinary. Red Jr is getting really close to Red Sr, isn't it?

Loverly shots there Lester, great colours and detail. I wanted to catch the Io transit and had half-decent seeing all ready to go, even had the 4x powermate in place, when bam, the laptop when haywire and it was over for the night

ah well, maybe next time.

Here is another one from last night. I think onion rings are a thing of the past, Gain 75% Gamma 0% keep shutter speed high and go for it.
