What wind?...Top conditions

Well, a month ago I posted a thread about the bloody wind here in Wallaroo huh? ...soooo just to be fair I thought I better balance that now...tonight there is not a breath of wind, there is no moon, very little dew and the seeing is good ...an all nighter on some galaxies is well under way

Finished the night with the Milky Way spanning directly overhead, almost North-South, then the beautiful Zodiacal light in the Eastern sky capped it off....Seems too often you lose but sometimes..you do win

He he

Mike

To quote a line from the Life of Brian - "You lucky, lucky bastar...."!!

A pretty rare occurrence these days so here's something to get you through the long nights ahead.... "Miserere"

Glad to see your getting some good weather Mike.

Autumn is always a great time in the Canberra and surrounding regions.

I've been getting some great nights lately.

Cheers men and Ricki, yes finally the windy weather has taken a hike! These current conditions are far removed from what I had to deal with from inner suburban Newcastle ...you out tonight?

Liquid sunshine here Mike - day and night. I reckon in the past 3 months it has rained on at least 60 days!?

Friday night was a beauty, I was out doing visual.

Today is looking a bit dodgy, I have to wait and see how it pans out.

Cheers
