It's here..
Well I'm excited anyway.
Got here in record time from the uk (9 days)
No glueing yet, just dry fitting things just to have a look at the quality...And it IS very nice quality.
After this comes an 18" Star Wars X wing fighter, & a Space 1999 Eagle.

I found my Aliens Dropship the other day - haven't seen it in YEARS!!! Needs some repair, but going back out on the display case.
It was STILL in a moving box, along with some other made models - back from being a bachelor

I'd love to see a pic of it one day, Lewis. I'm not familiar with that particular ship...Although I could google it, but where's the fun in that??

John, I can hear Athena 'the girl from the green dimension' calling out to Dr Smith.

The kit I have was moulded by Halcyon (Norwegian by memory). WORST fitting kit I have ever assembled, and I have assembled a LOT! I had polystyrene putty all over it, trimmed parts to make them fit, decals that wouldn't adhere... not quality. At least the shape is pretty accurate.

Good memories. Might just have to "acquire" the series.

I watched that episode 2 nights ago, Andrew. Along with the model I also scored the complete 23 disc DVD collection
Thanks Lewis, I remember that ship now. Polystyrene putty
- Didn't know there was such a thing! That would be handy to have.

John, I thought that you being a Welderer, you could have made one from bits & two large fryingpans, then modified/improved the aerodynamics mate

Thats a ripper John!
I remember watching it after school and my brother and I made our own Jupiter 2 ships using Two paper plates stuck together and drawing the windows and door on.
And that Dr Smith... boy I tell ya, if I was John Robinson I would have left him on one of those planets or fed him to one of the alien monsters!!
Top show!

And all done. Very easy model. Everything is that tightly within tolerance as far as parts fitting each other, absolutely NO glue was used! Just sprayed aluminium silver & popped together.
Now for some interior lights!
