Hi Southerners,
Here is Ursa Major, special object for Australians, but usual for us, Russian people. Now our circumpolar jewel is situated in the zenith, so it is a privileged target for astrophotography.
Unfortunately, I live in a large city, Moscow, so I can't afford myself deep frames (in addition, I don't have a mount). But I have tried to pull out the most data from the target. Result:
Ursa Major, 30sec*6*f/3.5*ISO1600. Processed in DSS and Protoshop.
Attached image is too small, but in full size (see below) image we can find M51, M81, M82, M94, M63 (for stars max magnitude is ~9.5mm).
