wow discovered gradient

hello members
after david (houghy) told me about the gradient tool i have been trying to find it on PS
it is quite amazing but it took my colour away!
60da eos cls ccd clip in
canon 16-35 lens @35mm
40 lights 40s@1000
number 1 the best i could get out of dss and the second the same pic but i just clicked the gradient button when transferred to PS
can i get my colour back? i think it looks fab in B&W
by the way my first go at widefield (borrowed my brothers lens)

Nice, I really like the B&W version. Sorry I can't help you out with the colour though.

I like it too (the B/W version). But whatever you clicked, it hasn't taken away your gradient.

I think your probem is that you have added a black & white gradient map to your original image. If so here's a quick tutorial I whipped up to show you how it's done and therefore how to remove it. Hope this helps.
