Addition to Supernova Theory

The most distant Type 1a supernova yet spotted by Hubble adds to supernova theory:

This article is a "quick read on the bus" version. I guess you'll have to get The Astrophysical Journal for more detail. Still, I thought it was an interesting read. Likening supernovae to popcorn may seem odd, but it works for me.
