Long Perne 60mm Spotting Scope

This 60mm spotter was bought for viewing the eclipsed sun at the recent total solar eclipse.

It has a zoom range of X18 to X54.

There is a quick focus wheel on the side .

It has screw on objective cap and push on eypiece cap. There are two 1/4" W tripod mounting holes underneath and a padded carry case which has a pocket for the tripod. The tripod looks useless but because it is so squat it is remarkably usable.

Total weight is only 1.2kg.

The views of the moon planets and brighter objects are not bad. It is a fantastic scope to throw in your pack when you go hiking or camping. It would be great for birding and target shooting as well.

I bought it new from Andrews for $250 asking $150 plus post .

PM's only please.
