Place to go star watching

Just looking on google maps up around Mount Colah NSW near ku-ring-gai national park has anyone been up around there with a scope looks like it mite be a nice place

Hi Lane

There's some reasonably nice dark skies around that area, being so close to Sydney. If you continue a little further north west up on the central coast up at Mangrove Mountain there's a group that observes every new moon.
