This is probably my favourite galaxy, and this image doesn't really do it justice! I got in 30min (6x5min) of luminance only last night, just before it ducked below the roof line of my observatory.... Using my ED80 and Meade DSI II Pro, guided, Losmandy G-11....
Need more data - more time, and much more aperture.....

Yes... literally... and a kilogram of cockroach poop! There is now 8 cockroach baits in the approx 5 sq m obs.....
The SN was accidental! I didn't realise there was one there when I was imaging it, I did image 2013aa on the weekend though, pretty cool....
