Hi guys.
As I’ve upgraded my mount to a Losmandy G11, my HEQPro 5 needs to go to a new home. Hopefully to someone who will love it as much as I have.
The mount is about 3 or 4 years old, I’m the only owner. It has some minor cosmetic cuts and bruises to the powder coating on the tripod but the mount it’s self is in good condition.
The mount tracks and guides well, see here for some examples of images taken with this mount.

Also see this thread from a while back where I’ve posted PHD graphs so you can see how well the mount performs

There is some slight backlash in the dec drive but tracking and guiding do not suffer any adverse effects from this.
Also included in the package, is my Eee Pc 1000hc with 2 gig of ram, running Win XP Pro. If required I’ll leave the software on it. If not required the laptop can be formatted back to a clean install of Win XP. Please note that I’m selling the laptop not the software, the licenses will stay with me.
So, the package.
· HEQPro 5, original box (box is beginning to look a bit shabby) as well as pelican style case.
· Original tripod with spreader and hand controller bracket, comes with original packaging.
· Synscan hand controller. Firmware version XXXX I don’t have the serial to RJ12 cable anymore so I have not updated the firmware for a while now.
· EeePc 1000HC 1.6 atom processor, 2gb Ram, 3 USB ports. Fully configured to the mount all you have to do is plug the mount in and press connect.
· 240v power supply, as well as 12v power supply. This PC is 12v so can run straight of a battery in the field, no need for an inverter. Much more efficient than converting 12v to 240v back to 12v. The 12v power supply has both 12v and 240v connection.
· EQ direct cable (Run the mount straight from SN6 and bypass the synscan)
· Serial to USB converter with driver (if you want to go through the synscan you will need the serial to RJ12 cable available from Bintel for around $40, I never bothered because I use a game pad, game pad not included)
I'll post some actual images of the mount over the next few days.
