Lightbulb Who would like to make use of a 12" scope with Argo Navis at SPSP?

Hi all,

I would like to offer my Marana ultralight scope to anyone who would like to have use of a 12" scope fitted with Argo Navis.

You would probably need to bring your eyepieces as I will be occupied with the Sky Tour at the time and I will be using my eyepieces there.

If one person/group would like to use it, then it's all there's until I'm done with the tour (about four hours). If more people are interested, then the time is divided up evenly with a limit of no less than one hour per person/group.

I'll give some tuition on how to use the system before sunset. I won't be far away either as the 12" Marana will be set up right next to where the Sky Tours are being held.

If you are interested, please let me know. You can approach me here on IIS, or at SPSP - you can find me by looking for the Gondwana Telescopes flag banner.

Alex.

Well done Alex for your award in the Telescope making competition at SPSP, both this one (the 12 inch), and also the 16. Great job!

Thank you Rod! It was unexpected, and a thrill,

But, as you have a wee little SDM, and 'sdm' is what is it's all about, it's not a 16", it's a 17.5"!!!
