Comet Lemmon 10/03/2013

Only a stack of 4 subs, and no calibration frames... Cut short because kids wanted to go home... I think the cows scarred them...

Hi Andrew!

Good image, that tail is amazing!
How the hell do you concentrate on imaging with you kid's in tow?

Cheers,

Justin.

Yes it's difficult, but they wanted to see the milkyway, don't get to see it from home so I took them out.... If I was alone, the images would have been better I think....

They were happy to see not only the Milkyway, but ISS, and a couple of Meteors too... My middle Son loves hunting for Meteorites so he has a facination with meteors too good boy....

Sounds like you have trained them well!

My kids took no interest at all , or at least feigned interest when they wanted something. At least my grand daughter loves the night sky.

Cheers,

Justin.

Great detail Andrew, more subs would have made it better still.
