Rosette Nebula

Getting towards the end of Rosette season but finally completed due to ordinary weather. Shot on and off over January and Feb.

Original 109mb, reduced for ISS uploading specs.

Optics: Skywatcher 120ed Black Diamond Refractor
Guiding: Orion Starshoot with modified 9x50 finderscope (PHD guiding)
Focuser: High Resolution Moonlight 2” Crayford
Camera: Canon 500d modified DSLR (focus & capture Nebulosity3)
Filters: Astronomiks UV/IR Asronomiks 12nm H-alpha
Exposures: 59x5min@1600iso UV/IR combined with
25x10min@1600iso H-alpha. Plus corrisponding darks.
Processing: Nebulosity3
Post processing: Photoshop CS5

Nicely done. Great details around the rim and in the core. That scope is a keeper. Beaute field.
