Australian Painted Snipe and other Crusoe wildlife

One of the shots that I managed to get of the VIP visitor to Crusoe Reservoir in Kangaroo Flat, and some of the other wildlife around the res including Red-capped Robins (adult and juvenile) and Black Wallaby (all with Canon 7D and EF100-400L)

Hi Patrick

A lovely series of wildlife photos. The expression on the face of the Black Wallaby is a classic!

Cheers

That snipe is a great catch. How long are they around? The robins look a bit disheveled. Was it windy?

Nice pictures Patrick!

I've driven past there many times, must stop and go for a walk sometime.

Cheers

Thanks all. David, I'm not sure how long the Snipe will hang around. She was there last week. I think there was a bit of a breeze, but the young Robins there still have a lot of rough plumage from fledging.
