NEWS FLASH: The truth about Comet Lemmon

Hi guys,

Well I think I have stumbled upon something that the government were trying to cover up... You make your own minds up but I think that the government are disguising Tie Fighters to look like Comets with some form of shape changing device, I managed to capture it when it was not changed... Might be part of the Death Star program......

EDIT: this is an actual completed stack from Deepsky Stacker. Not sure what it thought it was stacking but I thought it looked pretty cool...

I know what's happened here. In DSS under the "comet" tab in the stacking settings dialog there are three visible options: "align stars", "align comet" and "align stars and comet". But if you scroll down there's a fourth option: "Turn off the alignment computer, Luke; use the force".

Uncheck that box and you'll be right ;-)

Hi, Jon

The same problem, however, I didn't find the fourth option, because couldn't scroll down. I use the version of DSS 3.3.2, any ideas? THANKS!

Regards
