Moon and Jupiter from cloudy Adelaide

We've had clear skies in Adelaide pretty much for the last couple of weeks. Last night of all nights, the clouds rolled in. I only ended up getting about 10 clear shots, none of the occulation. This is all I could manage....which is obviously more than what a lot of you guys on the east coast got. We (Adelaide) haven't had much luck with recent lunar events with the last two total lunar eclipses clouded out as well.

Yeah I was watching the cloud band roll in all day hoping it would stall. Worst timing in the end. I got a glimpse of Jupiter re-emerging but I had already started packing the scope up.

That's an awesome shot considering the amount of could there was. I was really looking forward to this event as it's something easy to view and would be fun to take pictures of. I ended up going to bed early though. Looks like staying up could have been worth it!
