Istar Perseus AT150 F10 Refractor

With my upcoming 'Ellery/Gaunt' style refractor build and my recent Takahashi purchase I have decided (actually it was my CFO who decided) to part with my beautiful Istar Perseus 150mm F10 Refractor.

I have not had this scope for long, having bought it from a member here but am very impressed with the quality of the optics and the build quality of the OTA. This is a very well made scope which is fitted with a Moonlite 2.5" Focuser with fine and coarse focusing. The focuser is fully rotateable and has two finder shoes attached to the focuser so that your finder is always in the correct position.

Due to the long local ratio of F10 the CA is quite well controlled and certainly is much less than F6 - F8 scopes. This however makes for a large OTA and you would need an EQ6, iEQ45 or G11 sized mount alternately a DM6 or T-Rex would be suitable.

Included with the scope are a 2" GSO diagonal, a Moonlite 1.25" and 2" adapters as well as Skywatcher 160mm tube rings and a Losmandy dovetail bar.

The original plastic scope box and objective box are included.
The scope is in Jindabyne but I can deliver to Canberra and may be able to arrange collection at Cronulla NSW.

Any other freight arrangements are at buyers expense but I can deliver it to Pack&Send Fyshwick, ACT depot.

Price of all this .......... $ 1450

Cheers,
Matt
