18-Feb-2013 Moon and Jupiter

Just had enough time yesterday to process three photos taken during recent Moon-Jupiter occultation ..
- one for the Moon
- one (re-focused) for Jupiter
- and one (over-exposed) for the Jupiter’s Galilean Moons
Cam: 60Da
Scope: CPC925

Odd....

....compared to all the other images of this event, Jupiter looks to have about twice the angular size in this image.

Attached is another picture of the same event, and Jupiter doesn't want to be 2x[smaller] ..

Here is a link to a roll-over that registers the lunar image you posted first *exactly* over the second posting

... it was difficult to match the two as the lunar phase seems to change to about two days earlier
..even more odd is how Jupiter changes size.

I don't see how these two images are of the same event.
