Moon and Jupiter

Hi all,

The weather was perfect in Yass (NSW) to watch Moon and Jupiter yesterday night. However, the occultation was not visible from my place. Attached are two of my best shots. It was a bit difficult to capture the Moon together with Jupiter's moons on the same photo as the contrast is so high.

Technical details:
18.02.2013, Yass (NSW), Vixen VC200L and reducer 0.71x.
1. picture: Canon EOS550D, 23:00 AEDT, 1/90s, ISO800.
2. picture: Canon EOS350Da, 23:35 AEDT, 1/100s, ISO200.

Regards,
Carsten
