Macadamia Bug

Can anyone identify this bug, it's destroying the nuts on my macadamia tree - how do I get rid of it?. It looks like the ants are peeling off it's outer skin.

Much appreciate your help.

Eddie

It looks like a nut borer, download this file and it should help you identify it.
